What counts as an emergency?
Any situation where your vehicle cannot be driven safely: a breakdown on a live carriageway, a collision, a vehicle that won't start in an unsafe spot, a flat tyre with no usable spare, or warning lights that mean you shouldn't continue. If you're unsure, call and we'll talk you through it.
What happens when you call
We'll ask where you are, what vehicle you have and what's happened. We then give you a clear price and an honest arrival estimate based on where our nearest vehicle is at that moment. Once we arrive we either get you moving at the roadside or load the vehicle and take it — and you — wherever you need to go: home, a garage, or secure storage.
Staying safe while you wait
If you're on a motorway, leave the vehicle by the passenger side and wait behind the barrier. Switch on hazard lights and, if it's dark, keep sidelights on. Never try to place a warning triangle on a motorway. If anyone is injured or the vehicle is causing danger, call 999 first.
